1Cr 14.1: E Hiram rey de Tiro envió embajadores á David, y madera de cedro, y albañiles y carpinteros, que le edificasen una casa.
1Ch 14.1: Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.
1Cr 14.2: Y entendió David que Jehová lo había confirmado por rey sobre Israel, y que había ensalzado su reino sobre su pueblo Israel.
1Ch 14.2: And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.
1Cr 14.3: Entonces David tomó también mujeres en Jerusalem y aun engendró David hijos é hijas.
1Ch 14.3: And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David begat more sons and daughters.
1Cr 14.4: Y estos son los nombres de los que le nacieron en Jerusalem: Samua, Sobab, Nathán, Salomón,
1Ch 14.4: Now these [are] the names of [his] children which he had in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,
1Cr 14.5: Ibhar, Elisua, Eliphelet,
1Ch 14.5: And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,
1Cr 14.6: Noga, Nepheg, Japhías,
1Ch 14.6: And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
1Cr 14.7: Elisama, Beel-iada y Eliphelet.
1Ch 14.7: And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.
1Cr 14.8: Y oyendo los Filisteos que David había sido ungido por rey sobre todo Israel, subieron todos los Filisteos en busca de David. Y como David lo oyó, salió contra ellos.
1Ch 14.8: And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard [of it], and went out against them.
1Cr 14.9: Y vinieron los Filisteos y extendiéronse por el valle de Raphaim.
1Ch 14.9: And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
1Cr 14.10: Entonces David consultó á Dios, diciendo: ¿Subiré contra los Filisteos? ¿los entregarás en mi mano? Y Jehová le dijo: Sube, que yo los entregaré en tus manos.
1Ch 14.10: And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.
1Cr 14.11: Subieron pues á Baal-perasim, y allí los hirió David. Dijo luego David: Dios rompió mis enemigos por mi mano, como se rompen las aguas. Por esto llamaron el nombre de aquel lugar Baal-perasim.
1Ch 14.11: So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.
1Cr 14.12: Y dejaron allí sus dioses, y David dijo que los quemasen al fuego.
1Ch 14.12: And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.
1Cr 14.13: Y volviendo los Filisteos á extenderse por el valle,
1Ch 14.13: And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley.
1Cr 14.14: David volvió á consultar á Dios, y Dios le dijo: No subas tras ellos, sino rodéalos, para venir á ellos por delante de los morales;
1Ch 14.14: Therefore David enquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.
1Cr 14.15: Y así que oyeres venir un estruendo por las copas de los morales, sal luego á la batalla: porque Dios saldrá delante de ti, y herirá el campo de los Filisteos.
1Ch 14.15: And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, [that] then thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.
1Cr 14.16: Hizo pues David como Dios le mandó, é hirieron el campo de los Filisteos desde Gabaón hasta Gezer.
1Ch 14.16: David therefore did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer.
1Cr 14.17: Y la fama de David fué divulgada por todas aquellas tierras: y puso Jehová temor de David sobre todas las gentes.
1Ch 14.17: And the fame of David went out into all lands; and the LORD brought the fear of him upon all nations.
