Jb 33.1:   Mais toutefois, Job, je te prie, écoute ce que je dis, et prête l’oreille à toutes mes paroles.
Jb 33.1:   Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
Jb 33.2:   Voici, j’ai ouvert ma bouche, ma langue parle dans mon palais.
Jb 33.2:   Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
Jb 33.3:   Mes paroles seront selon la droiture de mon coeur, et ce que je sais mes lèvres le diront avec pureté.
Jb 33.3:   My words [shall be of] the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
Jb 33.4:   L’Esprit de *Dieu m’a fait, et le souffle du Tout-puissant m’a donné la vie.
Jb 33.4:   The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Jb 33.5:   Si tu le peux, réponds-moi ; arrange [des paroles] devant moi, tiens-toi là !
Jb 33.5:   If thou canst answer me, set [thy words] in order before me, stand up.
Jb 33.6:   Voici, je suis comme toi quant à *Dieu, je suis fait d’argile, moi aussi.
Jb 33.6:   Behold, I [am] according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
Jb 33.7:   Voici, ma terreur ne te troublera pas, et mon poids ne t’accablera pas.
Jb 33.7:   Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
Jb 33.8:   Certainement tu as dit à mes propres oreilles, et j’ai entendu le son de [tes] discours :
Jb 33.8:   Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of [thy] words, [saying],
Jb 33.9:   Moi, je suis net, sans transgression ; je suis pur, et il n’y a pas d’iniquité en moi ;
Jb 33.9:   I am clean without transgression, I [am] innocent; neither [is there] iniquity in me.
Jb 33.10:   Voici, il trouve des occasions d’inimitié contre moi, il me considère comme son ennemi ;
Jb 33.10:   Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
Jb 33.11:   Il a mis mes pieds dans les ceps, il observe toutes mes voies.
Jb 33.11:   He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
Jb 33.12:   Voici, je te répondrai qu’en cela tu n’as pas été juste, car #Dieu est plus grand que l’homme.
Jb 33.12:   Behold, [in] this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
Jb 33.13:   Pourquoi contestes-tu avec lui ? car d’aucune de ses actions il ne rend compte.
Jb 33.13:   Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
Jb 33.14:   Car *Dieu parle une fois, et deux fois - [et] l’on n’y prend pas garde -
Jb 33.14:   For God speaketh once, yea twice, [yet man] perceiveth it not.
Jb 33.15:   Dans un songe, dans une vision de nuit, quand un profond sommeil tombe sur les hommes, quand ils dorment sur leurs lits :
Jb 33.15:   In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
Jb 33.16:   Alors il ouvre l’oreille aux hommes et scelle l’instruction qu’il leur donne,
Jb 33.16:   Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
Jb 33.17:   Pour détourner l’homme de ce qu’il fait ; et il cache l’orgueil à l’homme ;
Jb 33.17:   That he may withdraw man [from his] purpose, and hide pride from man.
Jb 33.18:   Il préserve son âme de la fosse, et sa vie de se jeter sur l’épée.
Jb 33.18:   He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
Jb 33.19:   Il est châtié aussi sur son lit par la douleur, et la lutte de ses os est continuelle,
Jb 33.19:   He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong [pain]:
Jb 33.20:   Et sa vie prend en dégoût le pain, et son âme l’aliment qu’il aimait ;
Jb 33.20:   So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
Jb 33.21:   Sa chair est consumée et ne se voit plus, et ses os, qu’on ne voyait pas, sont mis à nu ;
Jb 33.21:   His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones [that] were not seen stick out.
Jb 33.22:   Et son âme s’approche de la fosse, et sa vie, de ceux qui font mourir.
Jb 33.22:   Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
Jb 33.23:   S’il y a pour lui un messager, un interprète, un entre mille, pour montrer à l’homme ce qui, pour lui, est la droiture,
Jb 33.23:   If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
Jb 33.24:   Il lui fera grâce, et il dira : Délivre-le pour qu’il ne descende pas dans la fosse : j’ai trouvé une propitiation.
Jb 33.24:   Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
Jb 33.25:   [Alors] sa chair aura plus de fraîcheur que dans l’enfance ; il reviendra aux jours de sa jeunesse ;
Jb 33.25:   His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
Jb 33.26:   Il suppliera #Dieu, et [Dieu] l’aura pour agréable ; et il verra sa face avec des chants de triomphe, et [Dieu] rendra à l’homme sa justice.
Jb 33.26:   He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
Jb 33.27:   Il chantera devant les hommes, et dira : J’ai péché et j’ai perverti la droiture, et il ne me l’a pas rendu ;
Jb 33.27:   He looketh upon men, and [if any] say, I have sinned, and perverted [that which was] right, and it profited me not;
Jb 33.28:   Il a délivré mon âme pour qu’elle n’allât pas dans la fosse, et ma vie verra la lumière.
Jb 33.28:   He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
Jb 33.29:   Voilà, *Dieu opère toutes ces choses deux fois, trois fois, avec l’homme,
Jb 33.29:   Lo, all these [things] worketh God oftentimes with man,
Jb 33.30:   Pour détourner son âme de la fosse, pour qu’il soit illuminé de la lumière des vivants.
Jb 33.30:   To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
Jb 33.31:   Sois attentif, Job, écoute-moi ; tais-toi, et moi je parlerai.
Jb 33.31:   Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
Jb 33.32:   S’il y a quelque chose à dire, réponds-moi ; parle, car je désire que tu sois trouvé juste ;
Jb 33.32:   If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
Jb 33.33:   Sinon, écoute-moi ; tais-toi, et je t’enseignerai la sagesse.
Jb 33.33:   If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
