Jb 19.1:   Et Job répondit et dit
Jb 19.1:   Then Job answered and said,
Jb 19.2:   Jusques à quand affligerez-vous mon âme, et m’accablerez-vous de paroles ?
Jb 19.2:   How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
Jb 19.3:   Voilà dix fois que vous m’avez outragé, vous n’avez pas honte de m’étourdir.
Jb 19.3:   These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed [that] ye make yourselves strange to me.
Jb 19.4:   Mais si vraiment j’ai erré, mon erreur demeure avec moi.
Jb 19.4:   And be it indeed [that] I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
Jb 19.5:   Si réellement vous voulez vous élever contre moi et faire valoir mon opprobre contre moi,
Jb 19.5:   If indeed ye will magnify [yourselves] against me, and plead against me my reproach:
Jb 19.6:   Sachez donc que c’est #Dieu qui me renverse et qui m’entoure de son filet.
Jb 19.6:   Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.
Jb 19.7:   Voici, je crie à la violence, et je ne suis pas exaucé ; je pousse des cris, et il n’y a pas de jugement.
Jb 19.7:   Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but [there is] no judgment.
Jb 19.8:   Il a fermé mon chemin et je ne puis passer, et il a mis des ténèbres sur mes sentiers ;
Jb 19.8:   He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
Jb 19.9:   Il ma dépouillé de ma gloire et a ôté la couronne de dessus ma tête ;
Jb 19.9:   He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown [from] my head.
Jb 19.10:   Il m’a détruit de tous côtés, et je m’en vais ; il a arraché mon espérance comme un arbre.
Jb 19.10:   He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
Jb 19.11:   Il a allumé contre moi sa colère, et il m’a tenu pour l’un de ses ennemis.
Jb 19.11:   He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as [one of] his enemies.
Jb 19.12:   Ses troupes sont venues ensemble, et elles ont dressé en chaussée leur chemin contre moi et se sont campées autour de ma tente.
Jb 19.12:   His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
Jb 19.13:   Il a éloigné de moi mes frères, et ceux de ma connaissance me sont devenus entièrement étrangers ;
Jb 19.13:   He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
Jb 19.14:   Mes proches m’ont délaissé, et ceux que je connaissais m’ont oublié.
Jb 19.14:   My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
Jb 19.15:   Ceux qui séjournent dans ma maison et mes servantes me tiennent pour un étranger ; je suis à leurs yeux comme un homme du dehors.
Jb 19.15:   They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
Jb 19.16:   J’ai appelé mon serviteur, et il n’a pas répondu ; de ma bouche je l’ai supplié.
Jb 19.16:   I called my servant, and he gave [me] no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.
Jb 19.17:   Mon haleine est étrangère à ma femme, et ma supplication, aux fils du sein de ma mère.
Jb 19.17:   My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children's [sake] of mine own body.
Jb 19.18:   Même les petits enfants me méprisent ; je me lève, et ils parlent contre moi.
Jb 19.18:   Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.
Jb 19.19:   Tous les hommes de mon intimité m’ont en horreur, et ceux que j’aimais se sont tournés contre moi.
Jb 19.19:   All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
Jb 19.20:   Mes os s’attachent à ma peau et à ma chair, et j’ai échappé avec la peau de mes dents !
Jb 19.20:   My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
Jb 19.21:   Ayez pitié de moi, ayez pitié de moi, vous mes amis ! car la main de #Dieu m’a atteint.
Jb 19.21:   Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
Jb 19.22:   Pourquoi, comme *Dieu, me poursuivez-vous et n’êtes-vous pas rassasiés de ma chair ?
Jb 19.22:   Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
Jb 19.23:   Oh ! si seulement mes paroles étaient écrites ! si seulement elles étaient inscrites dans un livre,
Jb 19.23:   Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
Jb 19.24:   Avec un style de fer et du plomb, et gravées dans le roc pour toujours !
Jb 19.24:   That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
Jb 19.25:   Et moi, je sais que mon rédempteur est vivant, et que, le dernier, il sera debout sur la terre ;
Jb 19.25:   For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth:
Jb 19.26:   Et après ma peau, ceci sera détruit, et de ma chair je verrai #Dieu,
Jb 19.26:   And [though] after my skin [worms] destroy this [body], yet in my flesh shall I see God:
Jb 19.27:   Que je verrai, moi, pour moi-même ; et mes yeux [le] verront, et non un autre : - mes reins se consument dans mon sein.
Jb 19.27:   Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; [though] my reins be consumed within me.
Jb 19.28:   Si vous dites : Comment le poursuivrons-nous ? et que la racine de la chose se trouve en moi,
Jb 19.28:   But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
Jb 19.29:   Tremblez pour vous-mêmes devant l’épée ! car l’épée est l’instrument de la fureur contre les iniquités ; afin que vous sachiez qu’il y a un jugement !
Jb 19.29:   Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath [bringeth] the punishments of the sword, that ye may know [there is] a judgment.
